What you'll do

As Business Development Manager, you’ll own the sales process from the first meeting onwards. You will engage in dialogue with multiple stakeholders, gaining an understanding of if and how Videoly could level up their online business. You will demonstrate Videoly's value, compose offers and contracts.

What you'll bring

You believe that sales begins with understanding a prospective customer’s business and pain points. You use your skills as a communicator to answer these pain points while delivering an uplifting experience for the other party. We believe people never forget how you made them feel.

Working as a Business Development Manager at Videoly you will be able to take your sales skills to the next level. Having great support from the team, selling our solutions is really fun and exciting, and best of all, companies really feel you add value to their online business.

You get to have a great mix of quick smaller cases and larger, more complex ones to manage. Working with different industries and markets, from cosmetics retailers to manufacturers of technical products enables you to constantly learn and get a holistic understanding of the ecom scene.

Be honest to yourself and others

We want everyone to be able to use their personal strengths in their work. Working as a Business Development Manager, you enjoy consulting our potential customers and reaching mutual win-win deals. To support you on your way, you may have:

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or Service Sales
  • Knowledge of sales techniques
  • Confidence in discussing with people and will to help our target companies and customers succeed
  • Energy and persistence in your work
  • Ability to work fluently in English, Finnish, Swedish or other Scandinavian languages
  • Excellent writing skills

It's also natural for you to ask questions and say if there's something you're not that familiar with yet. There is always room to grow and learn, and you don't need to be perfect, no-one is. This is how we see honesty – and humanity.
